This heavily treed community will focus on maintaining its natural surroundings via greenbelts and parkland, presently abundant with the Barton Creek Golf Course/Fazio Canyon just on the other side of Southwest Parkway.

Oak Hill Elementary, Clint Small Middle School, and Austin High School serve the student population of the Ridge at Lantana.
