Still partially in development, this subdivision offers both new homes and resales from homes built since 2005, with over half the community completed.
This heavily treed community will focus on maintaining its natural surroundings via greenbelts and parkland, presently abundant with the Barton Creek Golf Course/Fazio Canyon just on the other side of Southwest Parkway.
The section of new homes offered will be between 2,235 and 4,000 square feet, have between 3-4 bedrooms, and prices start at $318,900 and end past $419,000 depending on add-ons and incentives.
Resales, or existing homes, are in a higher priced tier, ranging from $370,000 to $589,000. House sizes are between 2,400 and 4,200 square feet, list at between $128 and $158 per square foot, and are all less than three years old. Over half of the resale homes listed boast more than four bedrooms, and several possess downtown views.
Lots of these properties average almost a quarter of an acre, and HOAs run about $300 a year, which are paid quarterly.
Oak Hill Elementary, Clint Small Middle School, and Austin High School serve the student population of the Ridge at Lantana. Oak Hill, a Recognized school according to the Accountability Ratings and is a new (2008) recipient of grants that induce innovative teaching, from language centers to a virtual gallery of Columbus’ place in history. Clint Middle School is also a Recognized school, newly built in 1998.
Downtown-based Austin High, boasting diversity as an educational endeavor, is well known for its Fine Arts and Media departments, and housing 6 different language programs, prides itself in a full-fledged city-friendly scholastic program.
